REQUIREMENTS AND RULES GOVERNING
VENDORS
Farmers Market ~
Contract for Purposes of Providing
Rental Space
Space Fee:
Space Fee is $25.00 per day plus sales tax of
6%. Space fees for vendors paying
for five (5) days in advance for a City of Cocoa Beach license receipt is $20.00
per day plus sales tax of 6%.
Vendors will make checks payable to the City of Cocoa Beach.
Checks must include vendor’s name, address, phone
number and driver’s license number.
Application and
Deposit:
All vendors must execute and
agree to terms of operation as set forth herein.
Refunds:
No refunds for space
fee.
Current Business License
and Sales Tax Identification Number:
Each vendor must display a
current business license and sales tax identification number, if
applicable.
County and State Health
and Fire Regulations:
Vendor must comply with health and safety
regulations. A vendor found in
violation will be shut down and not allowed to operate. If such an event should happen, no
refund will be made. Applicable
vendors will provide their own fire extinguisher (type “BC” or “K”, if frying)
with proper inspection label and of sufficient size to accommodate its
facility. Vendor must provide a
copy of Fire Resistance Rating Certificate for tent/fabric structure. Tents must be rated class “A” with NFPA
701 label.
Vendor must insure all
personnel handling food strictly adhere to all Health Department regulations and
wear approved serving gloves.

Vendors may start set up

market and fairness to other vendors, late arrivals and/or early departure will
not be permitted without written approval of the Market Manager.
Location of
Vendors:
Booth
space location assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
Payments must be made to the City of Cocoa Beach.
Other
Appropriate payments for the use of trademarked or
copyrighted materials (e.g. music, videos etc.) is a vendor responsibility.
